NeilMed® Nasal Aspirator safely and effectively suctions stuffy or congested noses, helping babies breathe more easily. Babies often experience these symptoms, which result from upper respiratory tract infections and other causes. Small children are unable to effectively blow their nose until they are 3 to 4 years of age and suffer from impaired breathing, feeding, eating and disrupted sleep.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place the tip securely on the aspirator. Make sure tip is completely over the opening of the collection cup. All parts should fit tightly into each other.
2. To turn on the suction power, press and hold down the power button. If desired, you may turn on the light.
3. Hold the baby in an upright to semi-upright position, well secured in your arms.
4. Insert the tip into the baby’s nose, ensuring not to place the tip too far into or against the wall of nostril.
5. Repeat suction on the other nostril and as needed.
6. Follow the cleaning protocol after each use.

NOTE: If the mucus is thick and crusted, we recommend using NeilMed® Naspira Drops™ Sterile Saline Ampoules or NeilMed® PediaMist® Nasal Saline Spray as a pretreatment to help loosen thick mucus before suctioning out the nostril.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Separate the silicone tip and collection cup from the base unit by pulling it straight out.
2. Wash the silicone tip and collection cup with dishwashing liquid detergent followed by thorough rinsing with clean water. Shake off excess water. You can also put these parts in the dishwasher on the top rack only. Air dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling. DO NOT put the body of the aspirator in the dishwasher. Clean the body with a soft, dry, lint free cloth.

NOTE: The body of the aspirator should never be submerged in water.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

"Spend a few extra bucks and get any other brand. The buttons are too hard to push, and having to hold down the button while you’re trying to hold down a baby is poor design. Other brands also come with different sized adapters that go into the babies nose. I’m trying to use it on a newborn and it’s way too big. Sped. The extra money and get a quality product."

Baby loves it

"We've been using the momcozy one for months and suddenly one stopped working out of no where. So I got this one from Walmart as a replacement. We LOVE it. It's way more powerful so you get everything faster. If it grabs the wall of her nose I just release the button. No more tears or swollen nostrils."

No extra tips or replacement parts available

"The product is fine but it comes with one nasal tip. It got lost and now I cannot use the whole device because this company does not sell spare parts. I don't have the money to buy a whole new $30+ device just for the nasal tip"

Overpriced

"This thing is SO loud it startles my baby before I can even get near him. It makes a horrendous rattling noise, you have to manually hold down the buttons which aren’t easy to press in the first place. Forget trying to use the light and suction and wrestle your baby all at the same time. This is a $30 piece of literal junk. Don’t buy it. I’m going to try and return it first thing tomorrow."

Good and bad

"Amazing suction. But the mucus sprays and leaks out. It gets all over my hand and everywhere. Even if it’s properly put together . I am looking for a better one . It’s not worth it if all of the mucus doesn’t stay in the clear chamber. Not very hygienic. On top of the fact that it’s loud and you have to manually hold the buttons"

Serena (2/5)

Bad

"On my 3rd one. It’s loud and it stops working even after I clean it."

Stephanie (1/5)

Loud and hard to use

"It’s so loud we have to restrain my daughter to even use it. The power doesn’t stay on so you have to hold the power button. Try keeping a button pressed down while you wrestle an octopus. It’s not easy."

Kristen J. (2/5)

Messy but effective

"Pros: it removes more mucous than the electric nose frida and the baby braun. It’s inexpensive compared to others Cons: its loud The light doesnt stay on by itself and is almost impossible to hold the light and power at the same time. Even if you put it together properly it can leak mucous through the back and on your hand while using. The mucous does not stay in the collection cup. It gets in the body of the tool which is difficult to clean as it cannot be submerged in water. It gets a lot of mucous out of my baby but all over me :("
